First presented at the house’s Fall 2022 show, adidas x GUCCI expands on the sartorial streetwear creations that debuted on the runway and merges the house’s signature emblems with streetwear staples as well as the iconic three stripes. The looks would feel at home in The Royal Tenenbaums and the classic retro pieces are reimagined in various ways with tracksuits one of the key themes of the collection: the dynamic retro patterns feature the Trefoil logo with the GG monogram and Alessandro Michele’s favourites, the classic gazelles come in complimentary colourways. The trio of lines merges with red and green web, whilst the tennis-inspired polos and skirts wouldn’t feel out of place if they were worn by Björn Borg in the 70s.
The collection will be available on June 7th across selected Gucci stores, dedicated Pop-Ups, and online on Gucci.com.
