ARKET is launching a new capsule collection designed in collaboration with Pia Wallén in November 2021. Entitled ‘The Shapes of Pia Wallén’, the collection features women’s clothing, accessories and interior furnishings. As one of Sweden’s most celebrated designers, Pia Wallén is renowned for her striking combination of modern minimalism and traditional craftsmanship. While her designs aren’t common in Scandinavian design there is something extremely Nordic about it. By combining her skills in interior and fashion design, she has been able to incorporate traditional craftsmanship with visually striking shapes. ‘The Shapes of Pia Wallén’ marks the second chapter in ARKET’s series Nordic Stories – exclusive collaborations with independent creators and cultural institutions from the Nordic region. This collection features women’s coats, skirts, bags and interior products.
The collection will be available exclusively in the ARKET stores and online from 18 November.
