Inspired by the sun, sky and sea, Louis Vuitton’s new trio of perfumes were designed to capture that endless summer holiday feeling. With the Californian coastline in mind, the brand’s Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrund dreamed of creating perfumes with airiness. “Locating the sensitive frontier between a pleasant but fleeting summer eau and the permanence of a perfume that expresses itself on the skin over time. Sun Song, Cactus Garden and Afternoon Swim are the colours of summer and of endless summer nights which they extend because I created them with the same respect as great perfumes, with rare and natural raw materials whose qualities are exceptional.” Inspired by the essential scents of summer, Jacques and his team worked with orange blossom, citron, bergamot and lemongrass to create the fragrances while artist Alex Israel was trusted with creating their colour pop packaging.
