Everyone who grew up in the 90s knows this movie: Pretty Woman was the classic fairy tale story set in LA and Julia Robert’s style became as iconic as the film itself and now Casablanca has released a campaign inspired by it featuring model Mica Argañaraz and pro-skater Boo Johnson showcasing the brand’s modern interpretation of the apré-sport-chic aesthetic. With playful prints and silhouettes the “Masao San” collection is inspired by Casablanca’s founder Charaf Tajer‘s personal journey through Japan and the silky garments feature hand-painted designs by the brand’s in-house half-Japanese painter, Gard Diop. Packed with vibrant colours the items reflect the Memphis-Milano art movement that ties in waves and pastel gradients across bags into one refined collection.
