Givenchy ‘s freshly unveiled Spring / Summer 2020 campaign features an iconic duo. Exuding the nostalgia of Paris and New York in the Nineties, icons Charlotte Rampling and Marc Jacobs are dressed in key looks of the season, captured by photographer Craig McDean, and guided by Art Director Clare Waight Keller. As a celebration of individuality, and in an elegant embrace of liberation, the series follows the “Givenchy sitting” portraiture style found in the Autumn / Winter 2019 campaign starring Ariana Grande. The campaign video follows the inherent paradox of the icons as Charlotte Rampling’s masculine/feminine style juxtaposes against Marc Jacobs’ playfully extravagant femininity, displaying characteristic poise that highlights Givenchy ready-to-wear and accessories.
