Dior – Getting Ready with Sarah Lysander

Bashir Arab-Sanchez

We caught up with fashion’s it girl, Sarah Lysander after the Dior Autumn Winter 2024 show. Her look was a nod to the Wild West—think stunning embroidered waistcoat paired with cowboy boots and accessorised with the iconic Saddle bag. Sarah shares with us that she’s been focused on her wellness journey recently and made sure to pack all her essentials with her this fashion month including her shakti mat, yummy electrolytes and her must-have Thai balm. She reminds us of what it is to be a Dior woman: sophistication and elegance. What does it feel like to be in head-to-toe Dior? It’s like stepping into your most empowered self, she says.

Tell us about your look for the Dior show today!
I went for a western inspired look, with a beautiful, embroidered waistcoat and low cut cowboy boots.
What were some of your favourite pieces/looks that came down the runway?
I am loving leopard print right now and this ensemble was a personal fave.
Favourite Dior memory?
I was lucky enough to travel to Mumbai for the Pre-Fall 23 show, it was a really special thing to witness.
What are some of your quintessential must-haves for fashion month?
I’ve been on a bit of a wellness journey recently. I don’t travel without my shakti mat, flavoured electrolytes, and Thai massage balm.
If you could keep one thing from your outfit today, what would it be?
Would have to be the saddle bag, I’m obsessed.
What does it mean for you to be a Dior woman?
It’s very empowering, wearing the clothes I feel a sense of sophistication and elegance.
