I once read an interview with Grimes where she spoke of a novel she’d read, in which a race of people chronicled all they knew in a book as a legacy. From this she concluded that the internet was how she felt humanity was recording itself. It got me to thinking, if humans die out and aliens come to Earth, what they’d make of us?
I had one resounding conclusion: they’d think Earth was inhabited by cats…
