Inspired by Suffragettes, this jewellery is pretty to look at and also invites you to go the the roots of the feminist movement: Leith Clark, stylist and founder of Violet Book has worked with our friends at Catbird to design a 9-piece capsule collection, comprised of ribbon ear climbers and necklaces, moonstone chokers and rings, charms and more. Talking about the collaboration, Rony Vardi and Leigh Batnick Plessner, founders of Catbird, said, “Leith’s world is about the woman wearing the clothing – who she is, who she might be. For us, beauty begins with the inside, we’re lucky enough to make beautiful things to gild the lily. We’re proud to have made a collection with Leith that is a true union, and that was designed slowly, together.” Each piece is 14k gold and handmade, like all Catbird jewellery, in the brand’s Brooklyn studio.
To celebrate the collection, Catbird will also be making a $10,000 donation to Planned Parenthood of New York City.
