It’s hard to think about down jackets in late July, but the Moncler Genius collection will make you want to wear it all year round with its latest instalment featuring a collaboration with Comme des Garçons designer Kei Ninomiya and his brand Noir, titled 6 Moncler Noir Kei Ninomiya.
Moncler first presented the concept during Milan Fashion week back in February featuring names such as Simone Rocha, Craig Green and Hiroshi Fujiwara among others, all designing a collection and with one collaboration being revealed each month.
Exploring the idea of wearable geometry, Ninomiya used nylon and leather to craft a dark yet romantic and highly detailed collection of skirts, stoles, cropped jackets, long coats and boots, all in his trademark black.
