Doing their bit for the planet, Southern California-based brand UGG® found a way to reduce their carbon footprint while maintaining the ultra soft and snuggly feel of their shoes – with wool being the most used fabric, UGG has developed the UGGplush™ and UGGcycle™ fabrics using recycled wool, in addition to that the AW21 collection also incorporates renewable sugarcane and recycled PET, diverting over 350,000 plastic bottles from landfill – equivalent to two to three bottles in each pair of shoes.
The collection is now available online as well as in select stores. When purchasing a pair, UGG® will partner with One Tree Planted to plant one tree for each purchase from the Icon-Impact Collection at select UGG® retail stores and online.
