Whitney Peak — the new face of CHANEL Coco Mademoiselle

CHANEL announces the new face of the Coco Mademoiselle fragrance, no other than Whitney Peak. Best known for her role in the Gossip Girl reboot, Whitney is the first black spokesmodel of a Chanel scent. There is no surprise about this announcement, as the resemblance between her and Coco Chanel is undeniable; both a reflection of the youthful freedom and curiosity of their generation.

“There is a mystique, a mystery,” says Whitney about the fragrance made out of a mix of woody and amber notes, combined with tonka bean and patchouli, but not how you might expect it, and that is the beauty of spontaneity.
